Junior Achievement, is one of Ireland's leading children's charities, and is part of a worldwide organisation reaching out to 8.3 million young people each year.

In the spring of 2009 Ballyheane National School was selected to participate in the Junior Achievement programme with a local company in Castlebar APC. This programme aims to create a culture of enterprise within the education system.
