Junior Achievement, is one of Ireland's leading children's charities, and is part of a worldwide organisation reaching out to 8.3 million young people each year.

Following last years successful participation, in the Junior Achievement Project, Ballyheane National School again in February 2010 became involved in this wonderful programme.

In this exercise we used our school grounds and surrounding areas to give the children some perspective into the size of the universe.
